M Computers and customers supported Srdce na dlani

We believe that successful business should go hand in hand with supporting those who need it most. That’s why this year we continued our long-standing partnership with Srdce na dlani. We are very pleased that our Christmas card with a hidden code has become a new tradition, in which you, our customers, are also joining in with great involvement.

Together, we supported the Srdce na dlani with CZK 348,500 and helped where it is really needed.

A Christmas cipher that helps

Our Christmas card traditionally had a little challenge – a hidden cipher.

Those who successfully deciphered it were given the opportunity to decide how to spend their 500 CZK prize. They could use it as a discount voucher for our e-shop Lenovoshop.cz, or turn it into a donation to the Srdce na dlani, through our company.

We very much appreciate the fact that most of you chose the second option. Thanks to this decision, together with our customers, we have contributed CZK 48,500 through the Christmas cipher.

M Computers supplemented this amount with another CZK 300,000 bringing the total donation to CZK 348,500.

The principle of the Christmas cipher

Part of this year’s Christmas card was again a cipher that allowed customers to participate in supporting the Srdce na dlani. Anyone who successfully cracked it could choose to donate their reward to a good cause. If a customer chose to donate their reward to a good cause, it became part of the overall support we provide for the Foundation.

The challenge was to open the right six presents – that is, windows with motifs that make sense to open. Once they were uncovered, a sentence was displayed suggesting the correct password entered after the QR code was scanned.

After entering it, customers could choose whether to use the 500 CZK discount to Lenovoshop.cz e-shop or donate this amount to support the foundation through our company.

Long-term cooperation with the Foundation

Cooperation with the Srdce na dlani is not a one-off initiative for us. Since 2022 we are acting as its general partner and we are pleased to be able to contribute to its activities in the long term. The support is directed to specific projects of the Foundation – from educational courses and leisure activities for children to individual help for young people preparing to enter independent life.

This year you have confirmed to us that good things have their place with our customers. Your decision to turn rewards into helping others is a strong signal to us that initiatives like this are worthwhile.
