The program started with a presentation by Filip Hartmann from prg.ai, who introduced the current activities of the organization and its role in the development of the AI ecosystem in the Czech Republic. Prg.ai is a non-profit initiative that aims to turn Prague into a leading European centre for artificial intelligence. In doing so, it works with leading universities and the City of Prague to support AI talent, connect academia and applications, educate the public and develop an innovation environment.
Afterwards, attendees dove into an overview of key news from NVIDIA GTC 2026, brought directly from the venue by our specialists. Kamila Jeřábková and Petr Plodík from M Computers shared their experiences from San Jose and presented the most interesting technological innovations and trends in the field of artificial intelligence. They also focused on what the conference brings especially for Europe and the Czech Republic.
Robert Mitka from Czech Radiokomunikace presented the view of a large cloud provider on the current developments in AI infrastructure and brought his view on the GTC conference in San Jose, which he also attended this year. The topic of infrastructure readiness was followed by Luboš Kolář from HPE, who focused on the future of data centres and their adaptation to the growing demands of AI solutions. He concluded his presentation with a show of photos from the implementation of the largest HPE solutions delivered, which attracted considerable interest from the audience.
The programme also included space for networking and professional discussion. Participants had the opportunity to share their experiences, consult specific use cases and debate the practical benefits of new technologies with our experts and other participants of the event.
