Easter visit from the Children’s Home Černá Voda

We welcomed children from the Černá Voda Children’s Home who came to us with their Easter products. There were also painted eggs, pomlázky or ceramic and wooden decorations. The meeting was a pleasant diversification of the working day and an opportunity to support the children.

Easter Fair

At our Brno branch we welcomed a visit from the Černá Voda Children’s Home, which is located in the Jeseníky Mountains. The children brought their Easter products and offered them to our employees during the afternoon.

A variety of decorations were on display and available for purchase – from traditionally painted eggs and pomlázek, to wooden products, ceramics, wreaths made of twigs for doors, to paintings. The offer was really varied and everyone could choose according to their taste. The staff had the opportunity to buy the products on the spot and support not only the children themselves but also the activities of the home.

The whole afternoon was held in a friendly atmosphere, the visit was a pleasant diversification of the normal working day. We would like to thank the children and educators from the Černá Voda Children’s Home for their visit and we look forward to further joint activities.

Children’s home Černá Voda

The Černá Voda Children’s Home is located in the Jeseníky Mountains and since 1976 has served as a facility providing alternative educational care for children who find themselves without adequate family background. Since 2004, it has been operating as a family-type home with a capacity of 24 children aged from 3 to 18 years, or longer in the case of studies.

Children live in three separate family groups, with siblings usually staying together. Children are cared for by teaching staff and teaching assistants throughout the year. The home emphasises individual attention and preparing children for independent living.

Children attend local schools or commute to secondary schools and apprenticeships in the area. In their free time, they participate in extracurricular activities and organised events, including camps, trips and sporting events.

They have long been working with our partner foundation Srdce na palmani, which supports orphanages across the Czech Republic.
