M Computers at HPCSE 2026

Together with the company Seagate we participated in the conference during May HPCSE 2026: High Performance Computing in Science and Engineering, one of the established professional events of the Czech HPC community.

Our colleague Lukáš Vach represented M Computers at the event with his lecture “Hardware 2026: From Core Wars Intel/AMD to Seagate Storage Revolution”.

About the conference

The conference brings together experts in high-performance computing, applied mathematics, numerical analysis, data analytics, artificial intelligence, quantum computing and advanced visualization. It aims to share expertise, exchange experiences and foster new collaborations.

This year’s edition had an exceptional dimension – it was dedicated to the 80th birthday of Prof. Zdeněk Dostál, a prominent personality in the field of applied mathematics and high-performance computing.

On behalf of M Computers, we also extend our sincere congratulations on this significant milestone.

Expert lecture by Lukáš Vach

Lukáš Vach in his lecture “Hardware 2026: From Core Wars Intel/AMD to Seagate Storage Revolution” presented the technologies that are shaping modern computing infrastructure today.

In his presentation, he focused on current developments in the field of server hardware – from new generations of Intel Xeon and AMD EPYC processors, through the development of memory technologies to storage for data-intensive environments.

One of the main topics was also technology Seagate Mozaic and the evolution of hard drives towards higher capacities. The presentation showed how the performance, capacity and efficiency requirements of modern computing infrastructure are changing and the role that processors, memory and storage play in this.
