Three branches, one team: meeting of M Computers employees

The annual meeting of M Computers employees took place last week and once again brought together colleagues from all three branches – Prague, Brno and Zlín. Together we looked back at the company’s results in the past year, welcomed new team members and the management also presented the outlook for the near future, including the current market situation.

There was also an informal part of the programme, which offered space for team competitions, sports activities and personal meetings in a friendly atmosphere. It is moments like these that remind us that the company is not just about results, but above all about people who love working together, supporting each other and united by a common desire to take M Computers further.

Together across the company

The annual meeting of employees from all three M Computers branches is an important opportunity for us to stop together, look back at the past period and share not only the company’s results but also plans for the future. This year’s event was attended by the vast majority of our team from Prague, Brno and Zlín. The meeting was not only business-like, but also very friendly and informal.

The programme also included an official welcome to new colleagues. M Computers is gradually growing and it is important for us that new team members have the opportunity to get to know others not only professionally, but also personally. We try to make sure that even as the company grows, people know each other, meet each other and know who is behind the different roles, projects and day-to-day collaboration.

Results, inspiration and team time

The whole event started with a joint lunch, followed by a series of presentations by colleagues from different departments. They talked about the company’s results, future outlook, cybersecurity, successful projects, development of our e-shop Lenovoshop.cz, functioning of the technical team and marketing. Meetings like this help us to better perceive the company as a whole and remind us of the importance of cooperation across teams.

The working part was followed by an afternoon program in the area of Bowling Brno. Employees took part in a bowling competition in teams of four, adventure golf was competed between individuals and some took the opportunity to play volleyball just for fun. Although it was raining in the morning, it cleared up during the afternoon lectures and the evening games were played in beautiful sunny weather.

We thank all our colleagues for their participation, good mood and above all for their daily work, thanks to which M Computers can grow in the long term. The joint meeting reminded us once again that the company’s results are mainly due to people, their commitment and ability to pull together.
