After last celebration of our 15th anniversary, which we celebrated at the Brno dam, celebrating 20th anniversary of our company this time took place in the area of Bowling Brno. Pro hosty byl, podobně jako na minulé oslavě, připraven sportovní den, kdy se mohli zapojit do turnajů o hodnotné ceny. Competition was possible in bowling or adventure golf. The little ones could enjoy the afternoon with special competitions, a bouncy castle or have their faces painted according to their wishes. Guests could also enjoy grilled specialties or enjoy the festive day with a mixed drink in the gazebo overlooking Brno.
The evening programme was devoted to announcing the winners of the afternoon competitions. Our executives then welcomed all the guests with a toast and thanked everyone who has been working with our company for 20 years. They were then joined on stage by a special guest, the Executive Director of the Srdce na dlani Foundation, and together they announced our newly established cooperation with this foundation. The main highlight of the evening was the performance of musician Xindla X and his band.
Nearly 300 guests attended this special occasion, including our customers, suppliers, and most importantly, our employees and their families, joined by former employees. Thank you all so much for participating and for being, and still being, with us!
Over the past 20 years of M Computers’ existence, a lot has happened within the company. Among the current biggest successes is the development of our business beyond the borders of the Czech Republic – we have delivered NVIDIA supercomputers to Romania and Hungary. Important projects include a contract for the CESNET interest association, where we delivered one of the largest data storage facilities in the Czech Republic, with a capacity of 33 PB.
We also focused on promoting our products and services in a different way — we published a series of M Talks podcasts, where we invited the best people in the industry. Other ways include educating our customers through various webinars and other seminars that focus on the latest IT technologies.
One of our other important events is our newly launched Lenovoshop. The new design of the specialized e-shop Lenovoshop.cz brings more clarity to Lenovo products or a more modern look.
In addition to our business activities, we were also committed to social responsibility. In addition to the above-mentioned new partnership with the Srdce na dlani Foundation, we have been supporting the Home for the Elderly in Brno-Bohunice for the third year. Our employees give Christmas gifts to local clients or as part of a company charity run.
