The eighth edition of the NVIDIA AI Days technology conference was held as part of the nationwide AI Days. It showcased new NVIDIA offerings for artificial intelligence and metaverse.
This year’s NVIDIA AI DAYS conference featured a number of experts from various fields who presented technical details of NVIDIA hardware and software, current references in our region and interesting AI solutions from Czech companies based on NVIDIA technologies. In his opening lecture, Lukáš Kačena presented how prg.ai is helping to turn Prague into a European AI hub. Subsequently, Richard Wright, who presented the Blackwell architecture for AI Factory, and Arts Yang, whose presentation focused on advanced software tools for optimizing AI models, such as CUDA or NVIDIA AI Enterprise, spoke on behalf of NVIDIA. Colleagues Kamila Jeřábková and Pavel Václavek from CEITEC at Brno University of Technology, presented successful NVIDIA projects in our region and the use of NVIDIA technologies in the academic and commercial spheres. Next, Petr Ding from Altron addressed the question of whether Czech data centres are ready to operate in the NVIDIA AI Factory environment. This was followed by Ladislav Pecen from HPE, who presented the HPE GreenLake solution for storage certified to support AI workloads in this environment. The afternoon session was devoted to practical examples of AI implementation in various industries. Marek Šimůnek presented how the operation of large language model (LLM) inference works in Seznam.cz and Václav Kyba and Miroslav Janata shared their knowledge from the implementation of LLM on the Microsoft platform on behalf of SKILL. Matouš Eibich and Tomáš Ptáček from Datera presented an innovative solution for working with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) data and Lukáš Drápal showed practical possibilities of integrating AI and automation using the Make platform.
The conference concluded with presentations on AI applications in genetics, medicine and supply chain management by Juraj Bujnak from Sophgena, Pavel Wimmer and Jakub Szasz from DNAi and Martin Čmejrek and Jan Mack from Mama AI. The conference showed the wide possibilities of using NVIDIA technologies for AI and presented the key role of AI in the future of technology development.

The eighth edition of the technology conference was held as part of the nationwide AI Days festival, organized by the Czech National AI Platform (CNAIP) in cooperation with prg.ai or brno.ai. AI Days focus on artificial intelligence and its current development. The programme of this festival includes practical examples of the use of AI in various fields and is intended for a wide range of participants, including companies, public institutions, academics, students and the general public. The AI Days promote an interdisciplinary approach to AI and bring new perspectives on its use in non-traditional contexts.
Part of the third edition of the festival was also the AI 4 Business conference, where our colleague Petr Plodík presented our experience from the implementation of NVIDIA AI infrastructure projects in a panel discussion on the topic of Good, Bad and Ugly – key lessons from AI implementation over the last 12 months. AI 4 Business takes place in various cities across the Czech Republic, this discussion took place in Prague as part of a conference with the subtitle – From Disillusionment to Successful AI Adoption. We also participated in AI 4 Business at last year’s AI Days in Brno, where Petr guided participants through the world of NVIDIA supercomputers.
